Why we started
Ground transport in Atlanta fails in predictable ways. A driver accepts a job and then cannot find the address. A quote arrives without gratuity in it and the final invoice is a surprise. A flight lands early and nobody has noticed. An 04:30 pickup is dispatched at 04:25. None of these are exotic problems — they are the consequence of running a car service as a marketplace rather than as an operation.
Driven Lane is built the other way round. Chauffeurs are vetted and trained before they carry a passenger. Assignments are dispatched in advance, not scrambled. Flights are tracked automatically. Quotes are all-in. And there is a person on the phone at any hour who can see your booking rather than read a script.
What our chauffeurs are
Background-checked, licensed for for-hire passenger transport in Georgia, drug-tested, and trained on the vehicle and on the job — door, luggage, route, discretion. They arrive early and wait. They handle the bags without being asked. They do not make conversation unless you start it, and they do not take a call while you are in the car.
How we price
Airport transfers and defined point-to-point trips are quoted as a flat rate, which means traffic is our risk rather than a line on your invoice. Multi-stop days and events are booked as hourly blocks with the minimum stated before you book. Driver gratuity is inside the quote. Tolls, airport parking and extended wait beyond the complimentary allowance are passed through at cost, itemised, never marked up.
What we will not do
- Quote a number that grows after the trip.
- Send a vehicle too small for the luggage you told us about.
- Take a prom booking from a student rather than a parent.
- Promise a journey time that the hour and the direction do not support.
- Tell you a chauffeur is five minutes away when they are twenty.
Insurance and compliance
We operate as a licensed for-hire passenger carrier in Georgia and carry commercial liability coverage that meets or exceeds state requirements. A certificate of insurance is available on request for venues, hotels and corporate procurement teams — just ask and we will send it the same day.
